| Introduction | ... an artist at heart:: designer by day and a cook by night ...a wife of a wonderful man and mother to beautiful 2 year old. I was born and brought up in Mumbai, India by my grandmother. But I went to school in Rhode Island, and now have been living in Los Angeles with my family for a while. I like chocolate, ice cream, and cherries, preferably all at once. I also like cheese, nuts, corn and mangoes. So why the name Cardamom Junkie? Because I love the flavor they impart to the dish they are added to...from chai to all sorts of sweet and savory dishes. The delicious aroma reminds me of my childhood days when it was used only for special occassions. It still has a very special place in my heart. |
