Introduction	19 year old Reid Honeywell, was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia September 4, 2009. A life force, among many "things," Reid is brother to four sisters, a sophomore at Southern Oregon University, a ski racing coach at Mount Ashland and an avid player & youth soccer referee. He was a healthy, vibrant youth before the AML’s sudden and life-threatening onset. After 34 days at Oregon Health Sciences University, where he underwent induction chemotherapy, Reid is now home in Ashland with family. He continues medical therapy in Southern Oregon for the foreseeable future. AML requires aggressive treatment and potentially stem cell transplant.
