| Introduction | Retirement has given me the opportunity to take up long distance walking. Walking Offas Dyke a day or two after leaving my long time job was a bit of a strain but I managed better on the Thames path and the Pennine Way. My big challenge has been to walk the E4 European Long Distance Path, a 10,500 kilometres walk across Europe. I have even written a book about it called "Six Pairs of Boots: Spain to Cyprus on the E4 Trail" by John Pucknell available from amazon.co.uk, amazon.com, bookdepository.com, lehmanns.de, bookspot.nl and other sites. |
