Introduction	I am an aspiring author working on my first young adult novel. Along the journey, I have discovered I need different ways to chase inspiration. I am named after one of the nine Muses of Greek mythology, so theoretically, I should be able to inspire myself, but it hasn't always worked that way! I look for inspiration in a variety of people, places and things. In all the roles I play in life, I am most inspired when wearing my Writer's Hat. I hope my thoughts on the art and craft of writing, suggestions to generate ideas and to improve your writing, and stories of trying to succeed in the world of publishing, will prove to be your Muse, too.
