The JA programs target school age kids, helping them to develop real world skills., Girl Guides of Canada - 2003 - Present Currently active in acting as a role model, and helping girls (ages 5 – 18) develop into mature well rounded socially conscious adults thru fun new experience volunteer work and expanding their know how. Have held various committee and management roles in the 7 years I’ve been involved., Technology Night at IBM - 2006 to Present Run an IBM program which is designed to encourage female youth to get excited about and build confidence that they can do technical jobs. Goal is to captivate youth early and grow the number of female youth targeting computer science & engineering positions as long term professions |
