| Introduction | I am a fine artist who spends most of his time doing multimedia work for various commercial applications. I also work part-time with teachers and students within Portland Communuty College's Multimedia Program. Born, raised and currently living in Portland, Oregon with my lovely wife, Lucinda. My fine art is done under the name of Dr. Bob Pliny. My artwork is a mix of writing, drawing and painting. My art is about a the experience of being alive; it is about my experience and how the world seems to operate. I get my freak on in Second Life. Modeling 3d characters, objects and settings with Maya is a big passion. I design and produce multimedia projects. I create websites, illustration, animations, and digital games. I received my BFA from The Cooper Union, NYC in 1977, graduating with honors. I received a Masters Degree in Art Therapy from Marylhurst College in 1995. I also received Multimedia Certification from Portland Community College in 2007. I am the Lead Singer of Shorty And The Mustangs, a western swing band based in Portland, Oregon. |
