Introduction	I grew up in a creative home, with an interior designer mother and imaginative, business-savvy father. My earliest design memories are of playing with my mother’s thousands of fabric samples and constantly rearranging my bedroom furniture. I credit my parents with my strong work ethic and for pushing me to follow my dreams. “Do what you love and money will follow,” my father told me. After trying several college majors that bored me, I found a passion in Art History. I spent summers studying art in Florence and Paris, taking in the wealth of artistic influences. After graduating from The College of William and Mary with a B.A. in Art History, I moved to London to study for my M.A. in Art Business at Sotheby’s Institute of Art. I’ve since worked in various creative environments, including interior design and special events. I am now handling sales and marketing for a bridal and evening wear designer, where I am constantly inspired by the design process and influenced by fabrics and styling. I’ve continued my education with home and fashion styling courses at FIT and have goals of starting my own interior decorating and art consulting company!
