| Introduction | I was last born of a set of triplets while our mother was screaming in delivery and our father was finishing his doctorial exams at Northwestern in Chicago. When we three gather, the fusion reaction generated from our combined brain power is only inversely compared to the vacuum effect as we return to our respective homes. I am grateful of being the father of 6 beautiful daughters and 2 handsome sons. I have relinquished my hold on my personal sanity years ago; however, I do not have remorse, not recalling when and where I left it. I love my parents who saw in me someone who had an insatiable appetite for truth and learning, giving me a chemistry set to leave stink bombs on neighbors' door steps, a microscope to observe the Universe of life which lives in a drop of water, and a telescope to gaze into the night sky. I could only see faint colors emanating from nebulas and gas clusters or close galaxies as the Andromeda. Wow! All that fireworks display - with most of the human race having no idea of the beauty. So, why was it all there? The COSMOS keeps going with or without us. I do not believe it cares or heeds to our scrawny theories we vainly confine it to. |
