| Introduction | About Me Lisa LaRoche I inherited my taste and talent for cooking from my amazing Mom. I'm certain, were she alive today, she could out-master/top-chef, even the likes of Julia Child! Growing up "Jersey" means almost automatic initiation into a sort of "state food fraternity" (Alpha Beta Delta/ABD/Amazing Bread + other Deliciousness). It's at least a daily food fest, especially if your mom is part Italian. As years go by, nutrition matters more, but delicious is still a priority. I graduate from the Chef Training Prgm. at Natural Gourmet Institute (NYC), am shown the light about primal eating from Dr. Jon Mastrobattista, D.C., maintain the gluten-free status that goes along with primal (I like to say I was gf before the stars in Hollywood) and tada...here I am now, aching to share the tips and recipes I continue to gather, refine and reinvent. I want everyone to walk away from the table feeling good (in their body) and satisfied (in their soul). Food is cause for celebration! So, keep yer fork-there's lots of gourmet grazing to come! |
