Elon in Costa Rica Spring '09

About me

Location	San Jose, Costa Rica
Introduction	I am a professor of English at Elon University (composition, linguistics, history of the English language, grammar, Appalachian literature, Holocaust literature, and American literature). I am in Costa Rica this spring with 17 students. We are all studying Spanish; the environment; economic, educational, social and political issues; literature; and culture of the Tico people. Some of the students will be student teaching or enjoying practiums in the schools, and we will be journeying all around this beautiful country to experience its very different regions.
