| Introduction | Dorie (or Doray to friends in the paramedical field) Padua, is a registered nurse who has been engaging in photography for the past 16 years. It all started when she attended a Basic Photography course held at Nayon Pilipino by local photographers Vic Sison, Ibarra Deri and Ador Pamintuan and organized by the Federation of Philippine Photographers Foundation. She has not stopped since then to increase her knowledge and sharpen her skill in photography. She has attended seminars on Portraiture Lighting under Toch Arellano; Portrait and Glamour Photography with Ibarra Deri and international portrait photographers Jamie Hayes and Mary Fisk Taylor; Nude Photography with Dominique James; Wedding Photography under Richel Mascarinas, Lito Genilo. Mel Cortez and U.S. based wedding photographer Hanson Fong and also took Photojournalism workshop with Luis Liwanag and Edwin Tuyay. During her stay in England, she went to seminars given by landscape photographer Tom Mackie and photographer/book author Lee Frost.
