| Introduction | Hello, my name is Eileen and I live in Seaton, a small coastal town in the beautiful, lush countryside of East Devon in England. I have a passion for photography and architecture, coupled with a love of old buildings, history and the landscape, and am obsessively interested in all the aspects that encompasses. I started my website Past Remains in order to document my visits of derelict and abandoned places, WW2 defences and other remains from the past, but it quickly grew to encompass lots of other things that I find intriguing or quirky, along with the more historical. And now I have this blog, which started as a back-up for my website articles, but also for other things too. Sadly, the website has now been deleted due to the inability to use the builder installed by the new host owner. So, my blog is now the only site for all new stuff along with the website articles, which I'm still gradually adding to by rewriting and are now much longer with a lot more info and photos on them.
