Introduction	I come from a family with an incredibly crafty mom (that woman can do anything!) and a very talented sister. However, I sort of avoided anything. In October 2006 though I decided I was going to teach myself to knit. I bought one of those kids's Klutz books and learned that way! Since beginning this blog I have gotten a lot more knitting experience and added crochet into the mix. Now perhaps a bit of photo-editing In non-knitting, I used to be a programmer, then Systems Analyst and now I'm a department manager with a great team working for me. I'm also a single mom of a kid with a good heart and a knowledge of how to push my buttons. (I think that's the way they are built)
Interests	my son, knitting, bowling, reading (fiction or knitting related)
Favorite books	Harry Potter, Terry Brooks (Magic Kingdom series), Yarn Harlot all, Stephen King (esp Dark Tower series), Wizard of Oz by L. Frank Baum or Ruth Plumly Thompson. Currently reading Jonathan Strange & Mr. Norrell
