Introduction I am a fan of food, I am a fan of old cookery books and programmes and I am an unashamed fan of Fanny Cradock... I know it's not new, but after watching Julie and Julia a few times, I wondered what it'd be like to cook my way through the Cradock Cookery Programme which was published in weekly volumes in 1970 and 1971... Only trouble is its very meaty and I am Vegetarian... So how's about I select only the non-meat things and give it a go? How well will the old recipes hold up to today's techniques and lifestyles, and can Fanny Cradock really teach me how to cook better each week? Here goes...
