Introduction	M leaves NYC for business school in fall of 2009. E stays to finish a PhD in the Ancient Near East. We have one free summer together and we're spending it in Syria! M loves meaty meals and fast paced travel; E fears public transportation, hot climates, and strange foods. Will M get sick off street meat? Will E find peace in the Middle East?
