| Introduction | Born in Hyde 1946, went to Leigh St school,then Hyde Grammar. Left in 1962 joined what was then GPO telephones, worked for them for 40 years (phew). Retired 2002, became caretaker at St George's School in Hyde. Was a member and leader at Hyde Lads Club from around 1963 to around 1982. Got married to the girl next door Pat in 1981. |
