Introduction	I am a chef at heart. I do not have any professional training, and I do not work in a restaurant (let alone own one). This blog embodies my love for cooking and much more. I strive to not just prepare a meal. I want to learn about the ingredients, the processes and the final dish. I also want to go beyond that dish, learning more about the cultures behind the cuisine. Through this blog, my hope is to use food and drink, as well as cooking, to promote empathy, learning, and understanding. Peace.
