Introduction	I am a Graphite and coloured pencil artist living in London, ON, Canada. I currently work out of my home studio and I do commissioned portraits of people, pets and just about anything else! This pastime has come to me later in life; I really never gave any thought to drawing and painting until about 2006. I took the requisite art courses in school but never fared very well, I'm afraid. In 2006, while doing a sketch of the yard for some fence work and garden plans, my son Alex commented that I drew well and asked why I had never pursued it. On a whim (and with his enthusiastic encouragement!) I picked up a basic drawing book and away I went! Although I have done a few pieces in other mediums I find I am most drawn to the pencil. I did my first portrait in 2009 and have discovered that I LOVE to capture peoples faces on paper. My husband of almost 30 years and I have 5 grown children, 2 grandsons and 1 granddaughter (who all bear patiently with me as I recreate them in pencil, over, and over... :) Please visit my website and email me if you are interested in having me do a portrait for you! linda@sketchimpressions.com
