| Introduction | About me... I am 27. I'm a foster parent to 5 GREAT kiddos. I am in the middle of an adoption. I live in a small town in Maine. I need a bigger car (I want a Ford Excursion... they don't make them anymore). I LOVE kids... I have 4 god children. I spend my every waking moment doing something or other that has to do with someones child. I volunteer at the local YMCA whenever I have free time (not often). In my screened in porch I have six bikes. I live in a large home on the lake. I love cats. Fire amazes me. I don't fear anything but God. I went bungee jumping last year. I have infinite patience for kids, but NO tolerance for BS from adults. Oh yeah, did I say I love kids? I'm starting a garden in the spring in memory of a good friend of mine and her children who passed away this past October. I can't swim. I love my family, even though we are all VERY far apart. I have been told that I am mature WAY beyond my years. I have decided to dedicate my life to children. There are SO many children in the foster care system that need someone to love them, so why not me? I mean, ALL of them can't live with me, but even if they don't there is someone that loves them. |
