Introduction	James Hunter is a Professor of Teacher Education and the Director of TESOL Programs at Gonzaga University in Spokane, Washington. He has a Ph.D. in Applied Linguistics from the University of Birmingham and over three decades of experience in ESL and EFL instruction in diverse contexts including the United States, United Kingdom, Spain, Japan, and the United Arab Emirates. His research interests include second language acquisition, psycholinguistics, corpus linguistics, instructional technologies, and teacher development.
