| Introduction | I am a Registered Dietitian. I work in maternal and child nutrition. What brings me to this blog is my concern for the health of those in my community. I hope someone will be able to provide and find motivation, knowledge, and awareness through this blog. I offer it as a take and a give. I am particularly interested in breastfeeding, child feeding, Diabetes prevention and management and weight management. My areas of interest outside of Dietetics lie in politics, church, reading, and being a mommy (to my Yorkshire Terrier) :-) And of course, I enjoy almost all activities surrounding food: selecting it (I could spend hours at a bulk goods wall!), cooking it, experimenting with it, but most of all I absolutely love watching others enjoy my food. |
