Location	Huancayo, Peru
Introduction	I will be in Huancayo, Peru from June 4-July 3 working with FIMRC (Foundation of Medical Relief for Children) on a Summer International Health Fellowship. I will be with 9 other undergrad students from all over the country. We will be volunteering at a hospital in Huancayo most of the mornings and then going out and working with FIMRC on community health education iniatives at places like orphanages, HIV centers around Huancayo and also some village outreach outside the city in the Andes mountains. Most of the health problems in countries like Peru stem from preventable diseases and a lack of knowledge on how to prevent them. I don't know exactly what to expect or what is expected of me but I know it's going to be an awesome experience!!
