| Introduction | Life became 'before and after' on January 15, 2015. In the blink of an eye I became widowed. " There's more to that story" was something that my husband Mark used to say when pieces seemed to be missing from a news media clip or a personal story. This seed of critical thinking would become vital as I walked through his death investigation. Love has shaped me and motivated me to speak out, mostly through writing, in ways that I never imagined.
