| Introduction | I am a newlywed! Just got married 8/13/10 yes thats right everyone Friday the 13th! It was the most amazing day of my life! We got married in Las Vegas, no it wasnt a last minute decision, we actually planned this for several months and had about 30 friends and family fly down to join us! It was so much fun, I couldn't have asked for more! Now the details! I have a new found obsession for shabby chic and vintage items. I just cant get enough, even though I have a VERY small house! I love to shop thrift stores, antique malls and good ole Yard Sales! My favorite of course. It just amazes what you can turn an old ugly piece of furniture into. Or even make a new item look old and oh the fun I have doing it. I dont have all the items I want just yet to make my house the perfect shabby chic home but I am getting there little at a time.. I would go faster but I don't think my husband would be to happy about that. I have to ease him into it a little at a time. When I come home with a truck load full of stuff, sometimes he isnt as happy as I am. |
