About me

Gender Male
Location Ohio, United States
Introduction Near the end of high school I announced that I had become an atheist. It didn't make me the favorite child of my father, the church elder. My father is gone now, rewarded for his Xian dedication with several years of Altzeimer's before he died. My brother, sister and mother are still Christians. I earned my BA in anthropology at Indiana Univ., but Reaganomics caused the disappearance of my job to pay for Grad school. So instead of becoming an archeologist, I moved to San Diego and became a hanggliding bum for 15 years. Toward the end of my time in CA I married my dream girl and best friend, Sandra. We moved to Ohio in 1995 to be closer to the family of Sandra's brother, a fundamentalist pastor. Then bought a big old 1910 house in a little town in OH. I studied 19 cen. history as a hobby and worked as a living historian for the 1860's. I love destroying historical myths with primary source material. Although I don't broadcast it, I've never made a secret of my atheism, and I'm always happy to debate atheism vs religion or evolution vs creationism.
