Introduction I am an investor in early-stage green energy companies. I also advise select clients on targeted marketing, primarily for travel and real estate opportunities. I am a Certified General Appraiser, licensed and originally from Hawaii. Before my real estate career, I worked in travel as a pioneer in eco-tourism and served as the director of beaches and ocean recreation for the City and County of Honolulu. I am retired, but provide unpaid assistance to my wife, Patricia Echenique, who is the Director General of Planeacion en Marketing, S.A. de C.V. (PlanMarketing). For ten years, Patricia was the director of Mexico's international image campaign and co-op advertising programs for SECTUR and the Consejo de Promoción Turística de México.

If you were a pirate, how would you avoid laughing when saying 'poop deck'?

Easy, anyone around boats knows that no one "poops" on the Poop Deck, all classic pirates "poop" at the bow and not over the stern (in Latin "puppis") and this deck is usually over the captain's quarters. Not a good idea to "poop" there.
