Introduction	The running joke is that I started climbing so that I could participate in my roommate's conversations... I'd be lying if I said it wasn't true. Living in a household with three very strong climbers in Boulder, Colorado, it was inevitable I'd end up in a pair of loaner Sportivas. I remember my first bouldering session up in Flagstaff, an amazing outdoor playground, and all I could focus on was how tight the damn shoes were... four years later, the shoes are even tighter. Climbing satisfies my thirst for the outdoors, my competitive nature and, as a social being, I get to be part of an amazing community. It has served as a constant force for me, it's brought me to some amazing places, introduced me to some phenomenal people and has really played an integral role in shaping my outlook... I absolutely heart it.
