| Introduction | Married to a Canadian husband, while he worked at the Canadian Embassy in Japan we lived in Minato-ku, Tokyo for 4 years and our son was born. We moved to Ontario, Canada, lived there for 5 years, and our daughter was born. A family of 4 (plus an adopted dog named Trixie), we settled down near my husband's home town, a suburb of Montreal, Quebec. Inspired by the surrounding environment with its mixture of English and French cultures, I socialize at the Newcomes' Club, volunteer at the children's school, take French classes, attend art school, and enjoy creating silver jewelry and hooking rugs. I am amused by my changes as I struggle to adjust and thrive in North American society as I wonder where this journey will take me. And then, we moved to Minnesota, U.S.A. in 2013. カナダ人の夫(David)と結婚し、在日カナダ大使館勤務に伴って４年間を東京港区内で暮らし長男(Kaito)誕生。 カナダのオンタリオ州で暮らした５年間に娘(Erika)も誕生。 家族４人揃って、夫の実家近く（ケベック州モントリオール郊外）に愛犬(Trixie)を加えて落ち着きました。 英語と仏語の環境に刺激を受けつつ、Newcomers' Clubという婦人会で社交したり、学校でのボランティアの傍ら、仏語を習ったり、アートスクールへ通ったり、ジュエリーの創作やRug Hooking（ラグ・フッキング／又はフックド・ラグ）を楽しんだり。 日々、変わって行く自分を楽しみつつ、いったい何処へ向かっているのか？悶々と試行錯誤の日々。そして現在は米国のミネアポリス郊外で新たな冒険の旅へ！ |
