Introduction	For those of you who are unfamiliar with the NATO phonetic alphabet, “Delta Juliet Papa” is simply its representation of my initials, D.J.P./ As I mentioned in my header, I am a longtime private security professional./ My other primary interests include martial arts and the related subjects of personal safety and professional use of force. My secondary--but not necessarily less important-- interests include outdoor pursuits (hiking, backpacking, geocaching, survival/bushcraft, etc.), travel, learning (about anything and everything) and just generally trying to wring every ounce of experience I can out of this life./ Overall, I perceive life as an opportunity for self cultivation, the end result of which will, hopefully, lead to a purposeful and meaningful existence./ For a more indepth overview of me, please see my first blog post...
