| Introduction | I always thought Penguins have it sorted - they hang out in cool places, look stylish as hell, the lady P's get to bugger off on adventures and leave the guys to look after the bambinos, and they seem to stick together when things look rough. In fact, if it wasn't for the fact that they only mate once a year, then I'd be putting my reincarnation request right now. Instead I'm writing a blog about my own little adventures in cool places and with good people. After getting kind of bored with the 'real' world I decided to check out and let the wind and snow blow me around in the outdoors for a while. In just one year the gusts have taken me all over the world from the Rockies to Mexico, from Chamonix to the Middle East, from Scotland to Nepal and always in the direction of adventure. No matter where the journey has gone, the prevailing winds have brought new experiences, friendships, and challenges into my life and all of them have brought huge smiles to my face. Life is a combination of fate and free will, and if you play your part, who knows what adventures will unfold - I hope you enjoy reading a few of mine. |
