Introduction I have been crocheting since about 1974 at age 8 when my mother taught me with regular yarn and larger crochet hooks. A year or so later, she found a bag that had been her mother's which contained some gorgeous doilies her mother had made, along with some skinny crochet thread and some impossibly small steel crochet hooks. I fell in love on the spot, created my very first doily without any pattern by copying one of hers, and have been designing and crafting small articles such as doilies, coasters, snowflakes and angels ever since! (Although I do confess to using patterns too!) Every time I make something I feel a kinship with the grandmother I was never able to meet, and so her spirit is alive in me- all these years later! I offer handcrafted ornaments such as doilies, bookmarks, snowflakes, angels tablecovers, flowers, placemats, valentine hearts, crosses...all available by custom order.
Interests thread crochet, flowers, pink, birds, fuzzy slippers, hot tea, homemade cookies, napping on rainy days, walking at the shore, playing my autoharp or guitar at home, playing the big grand piano at church
Favorite Books Any doily pattern book, especially if it has great photos!

You've successfully slain the dragon! How will you toast your marshmallows?

All I wanted to do was put this pretty crocheted vest on him. It's not my fault that he didn't like the pink ruffly flowers and ran off the edge of the cliff trying to get it off! Oh well, s'mores made with DARK chocolate of course.
