Introduction I started programming in 1968 and have hardly stopped since then. I love designing embedded systems. In 1979 I started with an 8085 development board and I added RAM, ROM, paper tape reader, keyboard and TV interface to it. I also designed a simple text editor for it. In the 80's I built a 6909 based system (completely hand wired) with keypad, graphic LCD (cost about $800) and 56K of RAM designed to monitor and store shock waves. Recently I have been playing with Verilog and ARM programming. By profession I am an engineer in a company providing Machine Vision solutions to manufacturing companies. On average I learn 2 - 3 new language variants a year as well as technical packages. 2010 - Verilog, Processing, Arduino 2011 - Omnet++, Matlab/Octave, ARM7
