Introduction	I was the Deputy Director in finance of the Mahawali authority of ministry of irrigation in Sri Lanka. But my lifelong passion into bird watching made me retire prematurely from the administrative post in which capacity i would able to travel the length and breadth of Sri Lanka. After retirement from my job, I got myself trained and qualified as a tourist guide lecturer at the Tourism Training center of Sri Lanka Tourist Board. Today I’m working as a freelance ornithological tour leader for prominent bird watching tour operator companies in Sri Lanka and further I organize private tours.
