| Introduction | I am an innovative professional with a diverse employment background and comprehensive experience in family support, customer service, management, marketing, logistics, analytics, public health, risk assessment, and call center operations. I am the Regional Family Readiness Coordinator for the Northwestern Division of the US Army Corps of Engineers, based in Portland, OR. I have a BS in Public Health with a minor in Environmental Studies from San Jose State University and am working on my Master of Public Health at Oregon Health and Science University. I served for eight years as a Staff Sergeant in the Army Reserve, including deployments to both Iraq and Afghanistan. I have volunteered at non-profits as diverse as a Buddhist monastery, an urban farm, a lung health advocacy group, and an organization that assists seniors with household chores and running errands. I am currently working on a community garden plot which will eventually lead to a small or hobby farm. |
