| Introduction | I love creating one-of-a-kind handbags and wearables from vintage fabrics, trims, and other finds. It's my passion! I was 4 years old when I started my love affair with fabrics. I couldn't wait to get to visit my grandmother, Josephine, who in the early 1900's was a professional seamstress. Sadly, not so much to visit her, but to be invited along with my mother to her neighbor lady's home. Mrs. Martinson had a room dedicated to sewing, and would invite me to pick out a scrap or two of fabric to make Barbie doll clothes from. I thought I had died and gone straight to heaven! To this day, that feeling still overcomes me whether it's walking into my own sewing room or fabric store. |
