About me

Introduction I am an independent contemporary artist and dancer. I choreograph, I analyze movement, and share my knowledge by teaching. I believe we all are creative people and we all are powerful. In 1998, I created New York based interdisciplinary Dance Company AMDaT (http://www.amdat.org)and since 2009 I'm doing project to project base.Besides my own projects I am one of the initiators of Direct Action Flâneurs, a politico/artistic effort in which we invite ourselves into public social fabrics to create temporary autonomous zones through committed observing, committed movement and committed typing. I call my work visual motion construction (visual motion deconstruction). They are a composed process that engages the image-object that lasts, our ephemeral mental image and the ephemeral nature of the body. They make the opening move of a game of dance, art and technology—on site or on stage. My aim is to create a dialogue that grapples with reality in its awful complexity. I refuse to apply only one viewpoint and so my work is almost overloaded with possible meanings. I aim to get viewers to ask their own questions and find their own unique experiences and their own puzzlements and aporias.
