About me

Introduction	I am an professional adult Jewish woman who resides in Chicago and has decided it is time to expand my Jewish education. I was brought up in a Jewish suburb of Detroit where we observed all the holidays in a traditional manner; but I never had the opportunity to have a Jewish education while growing up other than attending a Jewish camp for many summers and being actively involved in BBYO. We were fortunate enough to send our kids to a Jewish Day School so up until now, my adult education was limited to a K-8 education level. I have decided that it is time for me to learn about my religion, my historical heritage and the Torah to have an intellectual understanding of Judaism in addition to the emotional connection to my religion that has always been so important to me.
