More recent-loved There Will be Blood, Day-Lewis best performance ever ..also big fan of Foreign flicks- Fanny and Alexander~i can't say enough about this film...experiencing it is like reading a great novel ....quoting here~"In addition to its themes of Christianity, repentance, submission to authority, and the questioning of God's existence, the film deals with love, estrangement, ghosts, and the paranormal, as well as the more common Bergman theme of existentialism." Coldplay... saw them twice last tour-yes Rich--you did lose your ticket but to quote Chris Martin~~ 'all was not lost' ...we got you in didn't we..love concerts, most recent saw Pete Yorn at the Stone Pony, Bright Eyes ~ please listen to 'I'm Wide Awake it's Morning' ..and Bruce with my son R..the Killers in AC ..Kate Bush 'This Woman's Work'...Mark Eitzel/AMC...PJ Harvey..Joy Division...Jeff Buckley, in a class by himself a 4 octave voice range RIP...'Breathe Me'..Sigur Ros fan as well as Explosions in the Sky--post rock genre~ my son W showed me the way with them...give them a listen..Nina Simone..Wild is the wind..instrumental...love some Violins and Cellos, Adagios stir my soul.... as I have 9000 + songs on my IPOD (kudos to R and W) it is truly hard to even begin... "The Boxer" by The National...my R is a big fan so listening to them. One or two special fav's i won't share...otherwise Pretty much everything from Cash to NIN--i'm there. last but never least all the IRISHMEN-- u2, Van 'the man' Morrison..The Frames...Mic Christopher RIP...The Cranberries... Favorite Christmas present age 13--the complete collection of Agatha Christie's Mysteries...too many favorites but I'll always treasure Pat Conroy's 'The Prince of Tides' as well as ...'One True Thing' by Anne Quindlan .. 'Ethan Frome' by Wharton...'The Alienist' Caleb Carr...'Love, Freedom and Aloneness' by OSHO... Anything Austen....'Jane Eyre' i fell in love with Mr. Rochester..
