| Introduction | I am pursuing one of my life's passions - to help people re-tell the stories of their life, and if necessary, change the narrative so that it reflects the most desirable and strongest use of their talents. This interest evolved from my earlier research with women. These were persons who were quite successful at the time we met; even though at one time they may have experienced hardships like homelessness, public firings, personal loss, or worse. When faced with disaster, each woman decided … in her own way, that it was time to create a new narrative. It was time to change the story. Stories are powerful. They are made up of words that become thoughts. These feed our minds and guide us like an invisible thread. They breathe life into the things we make important. They can also inspire and celebrate the things we value. My hope for this blog is to create a place where we can consider ways to create for ourselves a new narrative that is compelling as it helps us chart our own path. I hope you will join me on this journey of renewal. |
