| Introduction | I LOVE books. Always have. I love new books, old musty books, favourite dog-eared books, and I also love browsing in bookshops. I've always been interested in book covers too, which is how I found myself working in publishing for more than twenty years as a cover designer. But one thing I've always wanted . . . was to have something I'd written myself published in book form. Writing is a passion of mine and always has been and although I've had several short stories published, the 'Holy Grail' of a published novel has eluded me - until now. Fledgling is my first novel, I'm hugely proud of it and I'm beyond excited at the prospect of having it published:) I live in a small town near North London with my husband, son and our black cat. We live in a four-hundred-year-old cottage, which has exposed oak beams and rickety old oak stairs, which really do need a bit of renovation! (One day.) |
