Introduction A Tulsa native, Teresa has taught calligraphy, paperarts and bookarts at Tulsa Community College, Philbrook Museum School, Waterworks Art Studio, and workshops throughout the United States for many years. Several calligraphic works have been commissioned by corporations for honorarium awards, including the unique and elaborate honor-scrolls and handmade scroll cases for Phillips Petroleum Company, Williams Companies, University of Oklahoma, and other enterprises. Teresa's other art interests are book arts, as well as her award winning stone sculptures. Besides an Associates Degree in Humanities from Tulsa Community College, and she has earned a Bachelor's Degree in American Studies, with a minor in Art History, from Oklahoma State University. Teresa currently teaches Humanities, 2-D and 3-D Design at Tulsa Community College. Teresa is an active member, past board member, and recipient of the CGO Honorary Life Membership and Board Officer of The Calligraphy Guild of Oklahoma, has been a board member of Living Arts of Tulsa, as she continues to create her artistic creations.
Interests Visiting with family and/or friends, traveling in the RV, Ghost Ranch, Florida, or San Francisco, reading, calligraphy, stone-carving, arts, bookarts, going to movies, camping, wine, and naps.
