| Introduction | I am me. I am the single mom of 3 beautiful kids and 3 angel kids. I've been through the trenches of divorce, miscarriage, abuse, PTSD and depression, and many other things. And yet more than that I am a daughter- a daughter of the King, who loves me so very much. And because of that I am resilient and a survivor. I grew up in the church and intend to spend my days answering a call of service to it. I live a simple life, but a blessed one. Recently I've felt a call on my heart to start this blog. As I've trudged through many changes this past year and been forced to come face to face with my own humanity in all it's weakness, limitations and challenges, what I have found is that what holds me back more than anything else from moving forward is grace. Not God's grace, because truly what greater gift is there? But my own grace. My own offering of grace to myself in all the ways and places I've needed. So I enter this journey of 100 Days of Grace. A time in which I am choosing to be intentional about fully living in to the gift of God's great love and grace and for me. What does that mean or what will it look like? I don't know. But I look forward to finding out. |
