Introduction	About the artist......... I was born in 1955 in Kaiserslautern. As long as I can remember, "Art" played a crucial part in my life. I consdier it my "Calling" and part of my life. I can't imagine my life without it. I completed my art studies at the Art Masters School in Kaiserslautern and after graduation, I first worked as a Decoration and and "Font" artist and then as a marketing graphic designer. Additional studies were done in France. It was there that I formed long lasting relationships to local artists who inspire and influence my work as well. Most of my work includes Still Life as well as Landscapes. Already at an early age, I was faszinated by realistic paintings of landscapes. At age 11 , I painted my first landscapes of northern Germany. I use oils, acrylics, watercolor, graphit and other techniques in my paintings. My residence is in the wonderful, scenic "Hermersberg", a small town in the heart of the "Pfaelzerwald" near Kaiserslautern / Pirmasens.
