| Introduction | Formed in 2009, the art unit 'room 507' is based in Brooklyn, New York. Members are Arisa (Vocals), Toru Yamauchi (Guitar), and Shinya Sugimoto (Sound effects). Aiming at composite art, room 507 fuses old Jazz, electronic sound and visual elements into the new style of music performance. Their performance is based on the story set in ruined earth in the future. room 507はブルックリンを拠点に活動するアートユニット。2009年結成。メンバーはArisa (Vocals), Toru Yamauchi (Guitar), Shinya Sugimoto (Sound effects)。オールドジャズとライブエレクトロニクス、ヴィジュアルを融合させた独自のスタイルで、新しいアート空間の演出を目指している。そのパフォーマンスは、従来のコンサートの概念にとどまらないコンセプチュアルで実験的なもので、未来の破壊された地球を舞台に終末から再生へ向かうという架空のストーリーに基づいて展開される。 |
