I'm a writer and have been living in Manhattan for a bit more than a year, and I keep telling "The Mother" that I'm never moving home or even closer to home. Manhattan's the greatest city, er, borough in the world. Who wouldn't want to live here?! You'll get my perspective on life, too! Sometimes we agree and want to steal clothes from each other's closets, and sometimes we want to yell and tell each other to change because we'll not be seen out with someone dressed like that.
