| Introduction | I will be strong in all that I do. I will not let life's obstacles overcome me. I will not stress out over the things that I have no control over. I will learn to take baby steps. I will be the best I can be. I will be respectful to everyone, no matter how disrespectful they are to me. I will be compassionate and loving. I will not be judgmental. I will remain open-minded and expand my perspective. I will defend my opinions passionately and at the same time take my opponent's perspective into consideration. I will show Christ's love to all. I will love with all that I have but I will not be blinded by it. I will raise my children in a positive manner so they will be open-minded, helpful, and respectful. My children will know that I love them. I will be successful. I will be a teacher, even if it is not in a classroom. I will be helpful. I will be the one that people can come to with their problems. I will do all that I can to demonstrate that discrimination and hate, in any form or fashion, is wrong. I will make my parents proud but, more importantly, I WILL MAKE MYSELF PROUD. This is MY MISSION STATEMENT. |
