| Introduction | Nordic Ledger is the blog of Mika Horelli, a Finnish freelance journalist based in Brussels. With a career spanning several cities, including Helsinki, Copenhagen, and New York, I bring a diverse and international perspective to my work. I focus on tracking the evolution of European Union politics, NATO, and cross-border international relations. My commentary extends beyond Europe, analyzing global political trends while maintaining a keen eye on developments in my home country of Finland, even from afar. In addition to politics, I am deeply interested in culture and technology. Recently, my attention has been drawn to the rapid advancements in artificial intelligence and its transformative impact on our world. Through this blog, I aim to share my observations, insights, and reflections on the complexities of politics, society, and innovation, offering readers a unique perspective shaped by my experiences across continents.
