Introduction | Jim is helping KidSafe, an online parental intelligence organization. Jim is responsible for leading KidSafe’s effort to build sizable partnerships with name brand organizations. Previously, Jim worked at Channel Velocity, a secondary channel management firm, as part of the early leadership team. He helped take the company from a start up phase to a flourishing business. Jim is considered an expert in secondary channel marketing and was a featured panelist at the Reverse Logistics Association along with representatives from Genco, Wal-Mart and Microsoft. He also helped raise private investment rounds, one of which resulted in the creation of a thriving technology spin off business. Jim began his professional career began with Ernst & Young LLP in their Management Consulting group. Jim received a B.S. in General Engineering from the University of Illinois in Champaign, IL and earned his M.B.A from Northwestern University’s J.L. Kellogg School of Management with a concentration in Strategy & Management and Marketing. He currently resides in Chicago and runs his own executive sales and business development outsourcing company as well as a small investment firm. |
