Introduction Jim is helping KidSafe, an online parental intelligence organization. Jim is responsible for leading KidSafe’s effort to build sizable partnerships with name brand organizations. Previously, Jim worked at Channel Velocity, a secondary channel management firm, as part of the early leadership team. He helped take the company from a start up phase to a flourishing business. Jim is considered an expert in secondary channel marketing and was a featured panelist at the Reverse Logistics Association along with representatives from Genco, Wal-Mart and Microsoft. He also helped raise private investment rounds, one of which resulted in the creation of a thriving technology spin off business. Jim began his professional career began with Ernst & Young LLP in their Management Consulting group. Jim received a B.S. in General Engineering from the University of Illinois in Champaign, IL and earned his M.B.A from Northwestern University’s J.L. Kellogg School of Management with a concentration in Strategy & Management and Marketing. He currently resides in Chicago and runs his own executive sales and business development outsourcing company as well as a small investment firm.
