| Introduction | I am a southern belle, through and through, although I am currently living with my husband in the Northeast--what an adventure! I learned how to cook from my mother, who is a wonderful cook; so are my grandmother and sister. My kitchen is the place where I spend the most time and am the most relaxed. It is a creative outlet, but it is also the place where the more important task of serving and loving others begins in our house. My blog, Belle of the Kitchen, is a tale of our culinary adventures from the south to the north and back again. You will find that I almost always share a recipe, often a dish passed down from my family, but just as often something new that I am learning myself. I hope that you will grant me the indulgence of sharing a bit of our lives with you, too; our activities, our passions, our challenges, and lessons learned.
