IntroductionI'm not an authority. I don't have all the answers, though I'm searching. In fact, I've come to believe that all of us KNOW VERY LITTLE, actually. That most of what we think we know is actually what we assume. Therefore, my point of view is essentially scientific. I tend to put what faith I have in knowing in the scientific method. As well, my point of view has much in common with Zen Buddhism, a view that I feel is much like "intuitive scientific methodology." Still, I'm not a Buddhist. I aspire to humility. I tend to believe that this is essential for both science and a Zen view. In times of what feels like enlightment, I've felt that it is only when we lose our arrogance and become truly humble that we can learn and begin to acquire wisdom and some understanding of reality. During my life so far, I have spent much of my time thinking about the "BIG QUESTIONS." A thread leading from the thoughts I've written above leads to what I am coming to believe is the nature of evil. I think that I know it's name and that name is Sanctimonious Arrogance. Think about it. Share your thoughts with me.
